What I Wore Wednesday--Athleisure Edition

I am excited about teaming up with the folks at Betabrand to bring you a post showing "athleisure" outfits.  I keep hearing about this athleisure movement and I am thrilled to know it is actually a thing.  Most days, I just want to be comfortable, so I throw on yoga pants and a long sweatshirt.  All this time, I've been stylish and didn't even know it!  At least 4 out of the 7 days of the week, I sport exercise pants and tennis shoes and believe me, I am not working out all of those days.  Judging by the attire I see at Traders Joe's and Target, many of you are "sporting" the same types of outfits and not always intending to workout.  So, here goes with a few of my favs.

I had my eye on these pants for a long time before I broke down and bought them.  I'm so glad I did! I wear them at least once a week.  They are very soft and comfy.  I haven't worked out in them yet, but they are definitely stretchy enough to do so.  They are basically a lounge pant that looks sophisticated enough to wear on errands.  The perfect pant for me!

These next two outfits are not necessarily ones I'd wear to workout, but they are comfortable just the same!

Similar outfit but with black jeans and jean jacket.  Love that black jeans are back in and the jean jacket will never go out!

These leggings are another item I hemmed and hawed about purchasing.  But as soon as they went on sale at Nordstrom, I snatched them up and now I don't even want to take them off!  They are so soft and cozy and are also plenty long enough.  I even dry mine!

The most awesome thing about running errands in the comfortable outfit above?  I can come home, take off my outer layer, and crank out a quick momsanity workout!
I'm all about an outfit that can multitask.

So after this photo shoot (photography courtesy of Carson Karkow--maybe he has a future in photography?), I was inspired to check out Betabrand's collection of workout and leisure clothes.  I found lots to LOVE, and look forward to placing an order soon!  Here are some of my favorites from their collections...

This Black Sheep Wrap Sweater looks so warm and toasty and perfect for hiking and relaxing by the fire.

It is long enough to wear with leggings and has thumb holes for keeping your hands warm.  This one is definitely on my wish list!

Although these Public-Proof Pajamas are out of stock, I had to share because they are just too cute!

Bonus--They have a 32 inch inseam!  Yay for all us Moderately Tall Girls!

One more to share.  These Dress Pant Yoga Pants look absolutely awesome!  A dress pant that feels like a yoga pant?  Yes, please!  These pants come in seven different colors and are available in regular, petite, and tall sizes!  Make sure you check out the entire collection of pants here.  I am positive you will find something you love.

So, check out Betabrand today.  I'd love to hear what you put on your wish list!!!

I am linking up with The Pleated Poppy today.  Make sure to check out her What I Wore Wednesday post and to browse through others who post on her page.  You will be sure to find lots of inspiration!
